Indian Society for Technical Education

The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading National Professional non-profit making Society for the Technical Education System in our country with the motto of Career Development of Teachers and Personality Development of Students and overall development of our Technical Education System. At present, ISTE has a very large and an effective membership base consisting of more than 1,02,985 Life Members, 5,54,094 Student Members, 2410 Institutional Members (including IITs, IISc.., NITs and other leading technical institutions), 1214 Faculty Chapters and 1322 Students’ Chapters and 17 Sections throughout the country. ISTE was inaugurated in the year 2014 in our college. Our College is one of the members in Indian Society for Technical Education and Institutional Membership by the year 2014 (Membership No is IM 2359/2014). We also got the Student Chapter (No: TN-350) and Staff Chapter (No: TL-312) by the year 2017. At present, 727 students have got their Student Membership and 55 staffs have their Life Membership in ISTE. Nearly 244 students and 34 staffs have applied for their Membership in ISTE.


The learners should thrive, achieve and contribute the Professional Learning skills in their field of activity and to support the professional learning for educators and education leaders by impactful Educational Technical resources


To empower learners to flourish in a connected world by cultivating a passionate professional learning community, linking educators and partners, leveraging knowledge and expertise, advocating for strategic policies and continually improving the learning and teaching.


Indian Society for Technical Education aims:.

  1. Providing quality training programs to teachers and administrators of technical institutions to update their knowledge and skills in their fields of activity.
  2. To assist and contribute in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industry and other organizations.
  3. Providing guidance and training to students to develop better learning skills and personality.
