NSCET allows students to flourish both personally and professionally. NSCET is not just about classrooms, libraries and labs. There are several opportunities for students to pursue their favorite activities, refine their skills and discover new talents and interests.
Extra curricular activities
Extracurriculars are a great way to participate in an activity you enjoy and meet new people, and they can also be an important part of your college application. Colleges like to admit students who are involved in their communities, interact well with others, and work to develop their talents and passions. A student who participates in extracurriculars is more likely to do each of those things than a student who has no extracurriculars.

Co curricular activities
We encourage and affirm the participation of students in the various activities offered through the co-curricular program. These activities play an important role in the total development of the student, and as such, are considered to be a vital part of the holistic education offered at the College. Involvement in the co-curricular program fulfils important education and social goals established by the College.
The co-curricular program:
- Provides an opportunity for students to contribute positively to the College community.
- Enhances the holistic development of the individual.

MEDICAL
The Health Centre here at NSCET is well equipped. It has separate inpatient facility for male and female students. The health centre provides quality health care in a comfortable and confidential environment. The centre has 6 beds and adequately supplied medicine cabinet. The health centre is manned by a medical officer and a healthcare assistant to provide excellent medical care to all the students, staff and faculty at no cost. In the future we look forward in expanding and bringing in high-tech medical equipments to serve better the students of our college.
LIBRARY
Our Library is a well equipped Learning resource centre. We have a strong collection of about 16080 books and 80 Indian & Foreign periodicals and ASME & ASCE on-line Journals. Besides Digital Dictionaries and Encyclopedia, there are 700 on-line, self-learning packages on CD ROM diskettes on a variety of engineering subjects.

Our library has been fully computerized and all transactions are automated using barcode scanner and barcode labels. We provide all assistance through On-line Public Access Catalogue to identify the book of personal interest from the shelves either on demand or in anticipation. One can order photocopies of pages of books or periodical articles, and register for clipping services on specific topics of your interest and ensure a continuous updating of their knowledge.
