The Department of Mechanical Engineering aims to produce the engineers with the abilities:

To design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
To design a system, component to meet desired needs.
To function on multi-disciplinary team.
To identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems.
Understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.
To use the technique, skills, and modern engineering tools which are necessary for engineering practice, recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in lifelong learning.

Mechanical Engineering is one of the most comprehensive professional disciplines.Mechanical engineering principles are employed in a wide range of industries such as power generation, manufacturing, energy, repair and maintenance, automation and control, robotics, electronics, nanotechnology, food industries, automotive, petroleum, aerospace, etc. Over the last decade, we have grown our expertise and competence in core Mechanical Engineering and Research.Our primary aim is to motivate, inspire, and build trust and confidence in students. They are also taught interdisciplinary themes such as Health, Environment, Civics, and Entrepreneurship.
