Overview

The Mechanical Engineering Department has been recognized as the first Research Centre in Mechanical Engineering in Theni District Engineering Colleges by Anna University, Chennai, since November 2016. Established in the academic year 2010-2011, the department introduced the M.E. (Manufacturing Engineering) program in 2014-2015. The department plays a key role in developing an "Engineering Science"-based curriculum that equips students with a blend of practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
